This was a good read, I could relate to the story Q was in love with A abusive person She loved him and thought he loved her but the way he showed love was negative .I cried for her but she also made me mad constantly taking him back.....I am hoping it's a part two because I want to know did Amber and Nate get married,did she get pregnant again after suffering two miscarriages, Did Q and Tony end up having a happy ending? OR did she take him back? Did that crazy ex get help or did he get with someone else and do the same crazy mess ? This book will become highly recommended from me and will be added to my book club must read list I think all women should read this book......Product details

For me this was a relationship that should never have been on the one hand, for obvious reasons. However lessons have to be learned and life has to be appreciated. Rocky has an talent that not only allows you to feel what she felt in in her life but it also inspires you to be better and stronger in your own life. At least that is what it has done for me. I hate domestic violence is a topic of conversation, but the fact of the matter is that it is very real. I pray that the right person reads it who needs some assurance that they are not alone and see themselves in this story. Use it to say enough is enough and will start to heal from this book. I am very much so looking forward to the sequel to this story. I am even more excited to meet this author and give her a BIG hug. I have read both of her books and she will only get better at her craft.
This author really had my attention through out this book because unfortunately i could relate from past relationships. I was buried into this book and couldn't wait to see what Qamar dumb behind did next and if Qortni would finally leave. it was so sad that she had to lose both of her children to finally walk off but sometimes it takes that much. Her cousins loss was heartbreaking also but they managed to always be there for one another which was great. I really like your style of writing and how your story reaches out and touches emotions in a person. that is excellent and not something everyone can do. "My man My Abuser" is a story filled with both "Love, Hate, Pain & Suffering". The female character Qortni thinks she is in love with her man Qamar, but she knows that she hate the way he treats her. While this story is very touching and based on the authors past relationship, it is like so many other abusive relationships that young women go thru everyday.
After meeting and dating Qamar for a short period of time Qortni falls in love with him. Not long after that, she realizes that Qamar is not the man she thought he was or even the man she wants to stay in a relationship with. But as abusive relations go she finds out that it's hard or sometimes even impossible to leave once you fall in love with an abusive lover. Qamar is a dangerous man who will seemingly stop at nothing to keep Qortni in his bed and under his control. The story is also an example of how young women can recognize the signs and traits of an abusive man & even avoid the pain and suffering of being in a relationship with one. Qoutni's will, determination and love for herself will be tested as she fight's to get away from Qamar for good.
Author Rocky Rose is a very talented young writer and i look forward to reading more of her work.

I will not recommend this book to no one. Terrible ending.
This was a crazy read but good. I thought Qortni and Qamar both a very serious issues, Qamar was the abuser and Qortni had low self esteem. The things Qortni let Qamar do to her was outrageous but she always forgave him, she didn't even like him. She had so many opportunities to leave but chose to stay, WHY??? The ending left me hanging, my question is will they stay together? Maybe there is a part 2 in the making to answer my question, I hope so.
This was such a good book but the ending left me guessing. I have never read a book where I literally wanted to jump into the book and knock some sense into the main character. How can Quortini not see what's in front of her face and she just keeps going back for more each time. I know they say love is blind but really is it stupid too? I was disappointed with the ending because I know there's going to be a sequel but it just stopped and that was it. Oh well come on with the sequel.
